Is This The Safest Motorcycle In The World?
And the tale of why three guys traded their harley's and bought Adventure Bikes...

The massive horsepower that the new KTM 1290 Super Adventure is putting down ( 160 h.p.) , with the advanced KTM  infused controls coupled with Bosch’s MSC “cornering ABS” system , traction control, cruise control, and semi-active suspension from WP plus LED cornering headlights all lead us to believe - It is in fact the Safest Motorcycle in the world?

It is our intention to provide a long term overview on this motorcycle inclusive of warranty repairs, costs to maintain, tire life and ownership enjoyment. I hope you enjoy the collection of articles and reviews that I have pulled together from a variety of sources. Both of our KTM 1290's will be delivered to us in the Middle of April 2015 ( we hope) , and trust me we both can hardly wait.

2 of us bought the new KTM 1290 Super Adventure and one purchased a Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Adventure.  We reached the point were excessive heat and weight were top of our lists in making the decision to move along to something far superior to that of the Harley. Once we reviewed and checked out all that was on the market, the decision was quite obvious, we all wanted an adventure bike. Each of us were looking for a upright riding position ( not the giving birth position ), while increasing horsepower and safety with water cooled heat control for stop and go traffic situations. We ride long distances and run into major cities while doing so and the Harley was just becoming a serious problem for each of us. The excessive heat was always a problem!

We are not selling anything nor are we looking to buy anything. This is the story of how we ended up here : The Purchase
